Kristin G.
Receptionist

Kristin grew up in St. Johns and moved back to the area from Colorado in 2018 to be closer to family. She has a BA in Communications as well as a MBA and has come to St. Johns Animal Clinic from a diverse professional background. Having grown up on a farm, a love of animals had been instilled in her from a young age. Currently, Kristin, her husband Thomas and daughter Gemma, have 2 cats, Mina and Hans, who want nothing to do with one another, a sassy little chinchilla named Penelope, a bearded dragon, Marley, & a gold knee tarantula that keeps getting bigger and creepier. In her free time, she is an avid snowboarder, rock climber, backpacker, & musician.

Stasi
Receptionist

Stasi was born and raised in Haslett, MI. She has always had a love for animals as long as she can remember. She started officially caring for animals as a caretaker at MSU USDA-ARS Avian Disease and Oncology Laboratory in East Lansing. Being a cancer survivor, this position gave Stasi the ability to focus on this disease and to be part of the solution and research for all cancer patients and survivors.

In 1999 Stasi was introduced to shelter life as a foster parent, and in 2000 took a position at CAHS as a kennel assistant working her way up to Program Manager of the S/N Clinic and Volunteer/Educational programs. While there,  Stasi was able to reach out to the surrounding communities about pet education and start a great foundation for her predecessors. Working in shelter medicine can be heart wrenching and can drain your soul at times, so in 2015 Stasi took a much needed break from the shelter world.

In 2018, Stasi started as a receptionist at a local pet hospital. Loving the position, Stasi yearned for a clinic that offered a family atmosphere and boy did she find one at SJAC!! Stasi started with SJAC in October of 2021 and looks forward to being able to give back to the pets of our communities and strives to educate the importance of routine pet care in order to maintain happy and healthy pets.

Stasi loves spending time with her husband of 18 years and their 4 year old Golden, Larry. They enjoy spending time together with family and spending time at the family cabins in the U.P. hanging out, riding the quad and spending time on Lake Michigan.
