Heartworm testing-Recommended with annual exam. Heartworm prevention strongly encouraged year-round.
Microchip implantation-$45 for us to implant, then $19.99 annual fee through HomeAgain. This can be done at any appointment, but we recommend doing it if/when your pet is scheduled for surgery as it is implanted with a large needle.
Spay/Neuter- For both dogs and cats, they must be at least 4 months old and 4 pounds. Prices vary based on weight and age. Call us for more information.
Dentistry-Dental disease can cause bad breath, painful chewing and tooth loss. In addition, bacteria under the gum line can travel in the bloodstream to infect the heart, liver, & kidneys also! We fully anesthetize your pet and do a thorough scaling (to remove tartar & plaque), polishing (to smooth enamel scratches that may attract bacteria), in depth exam of the mouth, and extract any teeth if needed. Talk to our staff or your veterinarian for more information.
Laboratory-As a convenience to our clients and to provide the best, most efficient care possible, we have the capabilities to run fecal and urinalyses, an array of routine and diagnostic blood work, and ear/skin/fluid cytology in-house with results available usually before the end of your appointment. There are also some more specialized tests and analyses that we send to the MSU Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, and results are received within 5-7 business days.
Boarding- For Dogs and Cats-all vaccines must be up to date in order to board. Drop off and pick up of pet is during regular business hours only. Call today to check availablity.
Euthanasia- We offer "in room" (owner present) and drop off (owner not present) euthanasias, and communal and private cremations. Call ahead for scheduling, details, and pricing. We also offer quality of life consultations.
